With over 40 years of installation, service and repair experience in the well pump industry, we have successfully located and raised countless wells for customers. We will locate your well quickly using our techniques that have been developed and tested since 1983.
Why it’s important to know the location of your well.
- Keep your well clean and safe from possible run of water, oil leaking from an old car, unwanted creatures crawling into the well
- An Emergency well pump replacement is much more efficient
How can I as the homeowner or property owner help find the well location? The site plans for the property are always helpful, getting an understanding of the property will most certainly help point us in the right direction. If your property has a septic, on the septic design plans the location of the well or approximate location of the well will be on there. If you do not have a copy of the site’s plans you can call the county or township in which you live to get a copy of the plans from them. If the county or town doesn’t have any records, don’t worry, we will still be able to help locate and raise your well!
Well Casing Inspection and Repairs
In order to keep your drinking water safe from contaminants your well casing should be inspected from time to time to ensure there is no damage or corrosion happening that can possibly allow in harmful bacteria, dirt or other possible contamination. In most cases the well casing starts to rot away right at the ground level, especially if your well is located near the street. Road salts can eat away at the steel and cause premature failure of the factory coatings on the steel.
When we find a damaged well casing, we cut off the damaged sections and then weld on a new section of steel casing with a steel coupling to make sure no further corrosion happens. This is the best way to prevent any change of contamination from entering the well.
Well Sanitation
Keep your family and business water safe and clean with a well sanitation. Having a safe and clean water supply is one of the most important things for any household or business. There are many ways harmful bacteria can get introduced to your water supply, a well cap that is not properly secured, a dead-ended pipe in your system or even from your hands when routinely changing a water filter cartridge. No matter how it got into the system, we can get it out and keep it out.
When we Sanitize your system, we will circulate the appropriate levels of NSF approved sodium hypochlorite approved by the NJ DEP. This will effectively kill off any bacteria lingering in your system, after a 24-hour contact time we will flush your system clean of all chlorine before returning the system back to normal use. In some cases even after the system has been sanitized and flushed clean a UV-light may need to be installed to guarantee that the water remains bacteria free.
Down Well Camera and Recording
With our deep well camera, we provide inspection of the interior of your well. We will record from top of the casing, the Pitless adaptor, the drive shoe, any and all voids / seems, and the intake screen. We can provide a digital copy or a SD card for longer recordings with larger file sizes for easy distribution.
Deep well camera inspections for identifying
- Veins/void conditions
- Screen inspections
- Cracks / Leaks in well casing
- Blockage identification
Well Cleaning – Brushing, Air Lifting and Chemical Treatments
Have heavy iron, sand, or grit in your water system? Noticing discoloration in your toilets? Well cleaning is the solution! Brushing the well and air lifting out the heavy particulates helps improve the quality of the water in the well. In some cases, a chemical treatment can be done to further help with the removal of heavy iron or other mineral build up leading to cleaner water.
